NEW JERSEY BISHOPS ISSUE NEWLY REVISED ADVANCE DIRECTIVES FOR HEALTH CARE FORM
On October 20, 2011, the Catholic Bishops of New Jersey approved a revised version of the New Jersey Catholic Conference (NJCC) Advance Directives for Health Care – A Catholic Perspective. A Catholic Guide to End-of-Life Decisions is a resource made available by the National Catholic Bioethics Center. This document provides a clear explanation of the Church’s teaching on end-of-life care, including advance directives and physician assisted suicide.
